i had the pleasure of working alongside Dave on Portia Ward at Tone Vale Hospital in 1978. He was bright , witty and always full of fun, we both had an irrascible sense of humour and our fits of giggles often got us in trouble with the ward Sister. He would often play pranks on me during clinic time and i would have to bite my bottom lip as I wanted to laugh so much but couldnt as I was surrounded by ward staff and patients. After he completed his enrolled nurse training he then embarked on doing his registration, however, he never completed it and left to do other things. I was sad to see him leave the hospital as he was good to work with, he had a bright effervescent manner and with his lovely diction of his voice made him absolutely charming.  RIP Dave. Gareth
